Geocaching & Walking Trails

Walking Trails

The RM of Grahamdale offers a handful of scenic walking trails that are perfect for getting outside and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Whether you’re up for a short stroll or a longer, peaceful walk, these trails wind through forested paths, lakeside views, and wide-open prairie landscapes. Along the way, you might spot local birds, deer, and other wildlife, so keep your eyes open. No special gear needed—just bring a good pair of shoes and take it at your own pace.

Steep Rock’s walking trails are a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike—and the RM of Grahamdale is looking to make them even better. It’s the perfect place to stretch your legs, soak in the scenery, and enjoy a bit of quiet time in nature.
Moosehorn Wayside Park now has a great new walking trail that loops around the edge of the greenspace—perfect for a relaxing stroll.

Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System(GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook and "treasure," usually toys or trinkets of little value. Today, well over 800,000 geocaches are registered on various websites devoted to the pastime. Geocaches are currently placed in over 100 countries around the world and on all seven continents, including Antarctica
